Privacy
The short version: we collect nothing. The longer version is below, and it's still short.
Your library never leaves your machine
Tessera indexes, searches, and understands your photos and video locally. Your media, thumbnails, captions, faces, and embeddings are computed and stored on your own device. We do not receive them, store them, or have any way to access them. We host no user media.
No telemetry, no account
The app sends no analytics, crash reports, or usage pings. There is no account to create and no login. You can run Tessera on a fully offline machine after the one-time model download.
This website
This marketing site is a static site with no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, and no analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operations; we don't use them to profile you.
Optional services you control
- Downloads are served from GitHub Releases; visiting those links is subject to GitHub's privacy practices.
- Bring-your-own compute is off by default. If you enable it, calls go to the endpoint you configure, with your key — not to us.
- Pro checkout is handled by our payment processor, which collects only what's needed to complete your purchase. We never see your full card details.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data through the app, there's little for us to export or delete. For anything related to a Pro purchase, or any privacy question, contact admin [at] gettessera.xyz .
